Founded in 1972 by Will Kirkwood, the Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization committed to advancing the economic vitality of Southern New Castle County.

The Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce is more than a network of businesses - it is a community of leaders, entrepreneurs, and organizations dedicated to preserving our small-town spirit while creating opportunities for growth, innovation, and connection.

Our members are the heart of the Chamber. Through events, partnerships, and initiatives, they bring people together in ways that foster collaboration, belonging, and shared success. Whether it’s a ribbon cutting, community festival, or networking mixer, Chamber members help make the Middletown-Odessa-Townsend (M.O.T.) area a place where businesses thrive and neighbors feel connected.
