Creating Comics, the Adventure Begins (student workshop)

How do they do that? This is a question on the minds of adults and kids alike. Find out about the process of creating a comic book from the professionals. This special workshop will be present by PLB Comic, which consists of a team of three, two brothers, Josh and Mathew Shockley, and James Dufndach. From inception to completion, PLB's writers and artists will guide attendees through the course of creating their very own comic books. Crafting riveting stories, laying out pages, drawing, inking and lettering will all be touched on. This event is open to all who have an interest in creating comics, graphic novels or sequential art of any kind. Meet this dynamic trio on March 21 during the Middletown Delaware Comic Con event to be held at the Everett Meredith Middle School. Their artwork can be enjoyed at the Gibby Center for the Arts, 51 W. Main St, Middletown, DE during the exhibit, Comics, Capes, and Corpses.
